Lumps and Bumps ultrasound scan refers to lumps anywhere on your body under the skin.

If you feel some unusual lump or bump anywhere on your body under the skin, our Consultant Radiologist will provide an assessment of its nature and size. Our Consultant Radiologist will take your medical history and explain the findings after the scan. After the scan and consultation you will be provided with an instant medical report and recommendation for further assessment of treatment.

Should you need further assessment, such as a CT, MRI or biopsy, that would be recommended in your report. You may share it with your GP or with a specialist Doctor looking after you.

• The most usual lumps people feel within the neck would be lymph nodes, but sometimes there are thyroid or salivary gland lumps.
• You may find multiple lumps under your skin, such as lipomas.
• Lumps within the groin could be hernias and our Doctors would assess the size and type of hernia to suggest to your Surgeon the ways to treat it.
• Lumps around umbilical area could be umbilical hernia.
